Custom Pieces Within the Deep Earth World

There’s something different about creating a piece that already seems connected to someone before it’s even fully made.

Lately, I’ve been beginning a few commissioned works within the Deep Earth world… pieces shaped through conversation, atmosphere, textures, colors, architecture, memory, and the feeling someone wants their space to hold.

What’s been most meaningful to me is that these conversations haven’t really started from “decor.” They’ve started from resonance. A person seeing a piece and feeling something familiar in it before they can fully explain why. That’s the part that interests me most…

The idea that art can feel like a remembered place.

A grounding point. Something that quietly changes the feeling of a room and the rhythm inside it.

As Deep Earth continues growing, I want commissions to feel connected to the same world as the collection itself… layered, elemental, intentional, imperfect, earthy, and calming. Not separate from the work, but an extension of it.

Some pieces begin as part of the collection.

Others begin with a person, a space, and a conversation...and I think there’s something really beautiful about that~
