Working in Alignment

There’s a way of working that doesn’t come from forcing or chasing something that you can't see yet...only feel.

I’ve learned the difference.

When I try to control too much, to decide everything too quickly, it loses its depth before it gets a chance to express it.

But when I slow down...when I stay with it a little longer, and choose from a place that feels settled and clear, something else opens.

It’s quieter, but more certain.

I’ve come to trust that feeling.

Not from the mind trying to figure it out, but from something deeper...a kind of knowing that moves through the heart, not just the head. The work responds to that.

It unfolds differently, more naturally, more like it already exists, and I’m just following it into form.

I don’t always have the full picture when I begin. But I trust the process enough to keep going. To let it reveal itself, layer by layer. And in that, there’s a kind of alignment... between working with my hands, my heart, and something beyond both. That’s where I create from now.
