A 7" x 9" quiet study set in a wooden frame. Exploring the layers that shape both the earth beneath our feet and the landscapes we carry within. In burnt orange, cream, black, and gold. 

Hand-tufted fiber, handcrafted frame, and carefully chosen colors come together to evoke weathered stone, flowing rock layers, the passage of time, and memory held in the land. Every mark, cut, and fiber is placed slowly by hand, allowing the materials themselves to guide the process.

Part of the ongoing Deep Earth collection, this original work reflects my continuing exploration through fiber, wood, paint, and pencil...different materials expressing the same enduring themes.
