Beneath the Drift is a sculptural 3 piece fiber artwork from the Deep Earth Studies series, inspired by the hidden ecosystems that exist beneath the surface of moving water. Layered forms, suspended fibers, and dimensional textures evoke underwater landscapes shaped by currents, time, and natural growth.

Organic openings and sculpted surfaces suggest coral formations, tidal pools, and unseen chambers resting below the visible world. Cascading strands move through the composition like sea grasses or drifting currents, creating a sense of movement balanced by stillness.

Part of the ongoing Deep Earth exploration, Beneath the Drift reflects on the depths that exist beneath appearances and the memories, forces, and connections that quietly shape both landscapes and lives.
