Becoming is a sculptural fiber artwork exploring formation, emergence, and transformation. Through layered textures, carved contours, suspended fibers, and dimensional forms, the work reflects the ongoing forces that shape both landscapes and lives.
Organic forms emerge from within the composition as if caught in a moment of transition. Areas of density and openness, structure and movement, suggest a landscape still unfolding—one shaped by time, pressure, growth, and change.
Part of the Deep Earth Studies series, Becoming reflects the collection's central interests in the quiet forces that shapes both landscapes and lives. Rather than depicting a finished state, the work considers becoming as a continuous process, an unfolding shaped by both visible and unseen forces.
Original sculptural fiber artwork. One of a kind.
